description of the principle:<\/em><\/strong><strong>:\u00a0<\/strong>Surface water is pumped to coagulation, flocculation and sedimentation system to remove most of suspended solids and colloids in river water. The water is continuing to be led through a rough sand filter for further removal of suspended solids before flowing into a special filter, including sand, activated carbon, and ODM material to remove the odor, color and toxic substances through adsorption mechanism.\n\nThe water is then pumped to a fine filtration equipment with micro-filters to remove sediments larger than 5 \u03bcm. This filtration system operates as a safety step for the downstream RO filter system. The water continues to be pumped with high pressure through the RO membrane with high-pressure resistance and 0.1 \u2013 1 nm gap.
