Define
According to Clause 9, Article 3 of Law on Environmental Protection No. 72/2020/QH14:
Environmental registration means that the owner of an investment project, production, business or service establishment registers with the state management agency the contents related to waste discharge and environmental protection measures of the enterprise. investment projects, production, business and service establishments.
Objects that need to carry out environmental registration
According to Clause 1, Article 49 of the Law on Environmental Protection No. 72/2020/QH14:
- Investment projects that generate waste are not subject to environmental clearance;
- Production, business and service establishments operating before the effective date of this Law generate wastes that are not subject to environmental permits.
Environmental registration certification agency
According to Clause 3, Article 49 of the Law on Environmental Protection No. 72/2020/QH14:
Commune-level People's Committees are responsible for receiving in person, by post or electronically through the online public translation system for environmental registration of the subjects specified in Clause 1 of this Article.
