Objects to perform
According to Point a, Clause 1, Article 46, Law on Environmental Protection No. 72/2020/QH14:
The owner of an investment project with a wastewater treatment plant specified at Point a, Clause 1 of this Article, after being granted an environmental permit, must carry out the VHW of the waste treatment work concurrently with the VHW of the entire investment project or for each investment phase. investment capital of the project (if any) or for an independent wastewater treatment work item of the project to assess the conformity and meet the environmental technical regulations.
Appraisal agencies
According to Clause 5, Article 31 of Decree 08/2022/ND-CP:
The environmental planning for the waste disposal works of the project must be sent to the environmental permit-granting agency.
- In case the environmental permit-granting agency is the MONRE, the investor of the investment project must concurrently send the environmental protection plan of the project's wastewater treatment works to the specialized environmental protection agency of the province;
- In case the environmental permit granting agency is the People's Committee of the province, the investor of the investment project must concurrently send the environmental planning of the project's wastewater treatment works to the specialized environmental protection agency of the district where the project is implemented for coordination and supervision.
