+ Nature

NaOH is a colorless crystalline mass. Specific gravity 2.02. Fast CO . absorption₂ and the water of the air, melted and turned into Na₂CO₃. Melting point 327.6 ± 0.9^oC. Boiling point 1388^oC. Easily soluble in water, sparingly soluble in alcohol and insoluble in ether.

– NaOH falling on cotton, cloth, paper … will rot. Leaving it open to the air will absorb CO .₂, forming Na₂CO₃. NaOH is a strong base.

- Used in soap and paper industry

– Remove fabric, yarn, dyeing accessories.

– Handling grease, manufacturing and charging alkaline batteries.

- Processing pharmaceuticals, food.

- Water treatment .

+ Packaging and preservation

– Contained in sacks, PP bags with PE layer inside. Keep away from acids and cellulose containing products.

- When in direct contact, must wear labor protection equipment, avoid splashing into eyes and skin.
